WHAT IS AN ADA COMPLIANT WEBSITE?

We are all familiar with The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the physical modifications businesses make, such as automatic door openers, wheelchair ramps and braille signs. But the ADA applies to the digital world as well. Under the law, websites need to give equal access to services just like those of physical locations.

Today, there are more and more lawsuits being filed against companies who sites are not up to par. It’s time to get your site compliant before you face a lawsuit as well. We have worked on several client websites to make sure their sites are ADA Compliant following very specific requirements set forth by the law. These include, colors, fonts style and size, contrast, just to name a few.

IF YOU MAKE IT ACCESSIBLE:

  • It will give everyone access to your products or services.
  • You limit your exposure to legal issues
  • More people will come visit and buy what you are selling
  • It will be better indexed in search engines
  • Everyone knows someone who is disabled so let’s have a heart.

Call us or fill out the form and we can help you get up to compliance and avoid litigation.
